Swanky cool engagement photographs with Dessiree and Brandon

I had a great time photographing Dessiree and Brandon around the classic Balboa theater in Outer Richmond district of San Francisco. Not only did the Balboa and the surrounding area offer a plethora of interesting areas for photographs but we were also doubly blessed by what ever deities reign over the movie releases.  What better billing could you ask for as a back drop for an engagement session than Sex in City 2, Babies and Robin Hood?  Desiree and Brandon were just so swanky and cool that we found place and place for fun photos.  And then, just as we were finishing at the Balboa, the sun popped through the clouds so we rushed over to the Land’s End Labyrinth. If you haven’t been there, you should definitely make a trip.  Perched on a bluff along the coastal trail, the Labyrinth will make you scratch your head and ask “how did it get here?” and “why did it get here?”  The entire area at sunset made for more great pictures and I think really highlited another side of Desiree and Brandon.

Thanks Dessiree and Brandon for showing me these two great areas.  I wish you the very best of luck with the wedding plans and hope you enjoy the photos.

Really like the composition of the photo with the sandwich board sign outside the theater. Love how all the lines lead your eye to the subject. Bravo.

Great series! The two that jumped off the screen were the one of them kissing with the Balboa sign in front of them, and the wide image of them standing in the middle of that concentric pattern of stones. Very well composed and executed and just plain cool!
