I met the Bone family at their home in San Rafael (North of San Francisco in Marin). They were hesitant to shoot there because they are remolding the house and it is still a work in progress. But I re-assured them that it would actually be nice to photograph the house as it is. After all they will look back at these family photographs in 10 and 20 years and remember what their life was actually like. As it turns out, Phoebe – their beautiful 8th month old baby girl – is so cute and has such amazing blue eyes that we could have photographed her anywhere and the photographs would have been fabulous. The entire Bone family was a delight to work with and I had a great time.
Best of luck with the remodel and I can’t wait to see the finish product.

Oh my gosh those blue eyes!!!
I’m with Vida on the gorgeous blue eyes
That next-to-last photo is probably my favorite – love that combination of expressions – beautiful work.
Ha – excellent set of photographs. I particularly like the photograph of the child crying. Sorry – I know that’s not the best one but it is so expressive with the parents smiling.
What an emotional set of photos that document such a cherished time for the family!
