The Beautiful Berg Family at the Palace of Fine Arts

For two years now Jeff and Frieda have supported me on the Life Cycle bike ride and for two years now, I’ve had the pleasure of photographing them and Carmel their beautiful little girl Carmelle.  So much fun to see her grow up.  Last year she was just walking around the playground and now it’s run, run, run every where.  We met at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco.  Awesome spot for photographs but things got really cool when we ventured into the Exploratorium.  That place is incredible for families and even better fro fun candid photographs.  I spent a lot of time chasing Carmelle of course but in the end it was well worth it.

Jeff and Frieda – thanks so much for your support and congrats on having such an amazing family.

Jaclyn & Dustin’s Sassy & Fun San Francisco Engagement Photographs

This turned out be a perfect storm for engagement Photographs.  First Jaclyn and Dustin are just good looking, fun people.  Pretty sure we could do a shoot most anywhere and they would  come out just fine.  Combine them with three great locations in San Francisco – The Palace of Fine Arts, The Marina District and Baker Beach and you have amazing photos.  And then add in the fact that they met at one of the locations (the Circa Bar) and you have the makings of an incredible engagement session. We had so much much playing with different poses and moments in the various locations.  The Circa Bar was great with all sorts of mirrors, colors and shadows (thanks to the Circa staff for letting us in and sorry for getting in your way).  Sadly Baker Beach and the Golden Gate Bridge was completely fogged in but we didn’t let that stop us and we got of the sexiest, sassiest shots I’ve ever taken.  All in all a most fabulous day and one my most memorable engagement sessions to date.

Thanks Jaclyn and Dustin – I had such a fun time and I wish you the very best with your wedding.  I’m sure it will be a most magical day.

Family Portraits with the Andersons

This session started off a little rocky when we discovered our originally planned location was completely surrounded by a triathlon.  I’m all for spandex, bikes and transition bags but that doesn’t make for the best family portraits.  Fortunately in San Francisco there are many options so we moved from Crissy Field to the Palace of Fine Arts.  And we new exactly were to go because Brad, who helps train pilots, has a crazy sense of direction.  Must be very helpful if and when they ever get lost.  And Tania is super relaxed and made everything enjoyable.  But of course the star of the show was little Layla.  A year old, just on the verge of walking and full of energy.  Plus she has crazy beautiful eyes and loves looking at the camera.  Pretty much ideal for any child photographer.

Thank you Andersons for being so darn nice and flexible.  I had a great time and hope you enjoy the photos.
