Sam and Mike’s Wedding at Beautiful Holly Farms

I met Sam and Mike on a gray, rainy San Francisco afternoon so I was really happy to see that they had a beautiful, sunny day for their wedding at Holly Farms in Carmel. Sam was beautiful, Mike looked great and they (along with their friends) did an amazing job of decorating the already amazing location. Best part of the day had to be seeing Sam work on her vows and tear up as she talked about all the reasons she loved Mike. It was a very sweet moment and was a perfect example of how much they love each other.

Thanks Sam and Mike. I had a great time and wish you the very best.

Heidi and Dave’s Wonderful Walla Walla Wedding

Well it wasn’t exactly in Walla Walla but Heidi and Dave live really close to there and the wedding was definitely wonderful so I think it works. Heidi invited me to be apart of their wedding because as she said ” its going to be a celebration of our community and you are part of that community.” Such an honor to spend the weekend with so many fun people. I even loved flying in from San Francisco and seeing the endless wheat fields – brought back great memories. Their wedding was at their home in the Blue Mountains outside of Walla Walla and was a perfect reflection of their love (for themselves and their community). Its not every wedding that has a clown, tarot card readings and the “Groove Palace” so a good time was had by all.

Heidi and Dave – Thank you so much for letting me be apart of your wedding and I wish you the very best.

Carl raises the engagement bar wayyyy high

Carl is either a man among men or a glutton for punishment. I have never hear of a man do what he did before she said yes. He hired Devoted Catering to set up an amazing Bedouin tent on Crissy field and serve a fabulous multi-course meal complete with drinks, wine and champagne. The tent literally looked like a palace on the hill. The sky was the standard San Francisco Summer Gray and it was cold but no matter. They had a near perfect view of the Golden Gate Bridge and because it was so cold there was no one on Crissy Field so they must have felt like the only two people in San Francisco.

Carl set all this up prior to asking Michelle to marry him. That is living on the edge. I wasn’t there but the story goes that he proposed to her under the Golden Gate Bridge and they walked back to this amazing dining experience. It was incredible and my hat goes off to him. Of course, if that is the starting point, I can’t imagine what he will have to do going forward.

Great job Carl – you the man. And Congrats to you Michelle – seams like you will have a very fun wedding.
